There were two separate parts of this dream but I’ll describe them both anyways even though the first part is extremely short. For the first part of my dream, I believe that me and friends were playing some type of hide and seek game mixed with tag in the forest. I remember going deep into the forest and finding something that looked like a children’s play place that was built amongst the trees and I explored it for some time. It was around this time as well that I teamed up with my friends and we made two separate teams. My team had me, Taryn, and Delia, and their team was Dylan and Jack. After my team left the forest we quickly got into my car and started driving, trying to find a place to stay for the night. I believe our lease ended at this time so we were stuck driving around in my car with most of our belongings in the trunk as we searched for a place to stay.
Eventually, we found an apartment complex that I remembered a friend of mine staying at. We parked our car out front but immediately realized this was a bad idea when I mentioned how Dylan and Jack were sure to find out that we were staying here once they saw my right red Ford Focus parked out front of the building. Our suspicions were proven true when I looked to the left and I saw Dylan and Jack pulling into the parking area that was parallel to ours and trying to sneakily get out of the car and enter the apartment building. I told Taryn and Delia and we started to run inside and find the friend of mine that I remembered that lived there. I don’t remember at which point she showed up, but I had Kraut (my pet cat) with me and Taryn had Dylan’s pet cat with her (I’m not sure of its name). I don’t remember my friend’s name either who lived in the building, but he reminded me of my old friend from high school who was named Robert, though I’m not sure if it was actually him. Regardless of what his name was, we eventually found him as we were running through the building looking for his room. He guided us up to the third floor, where he motioned us to the door that was the entrance to his apartment.
As Robert tried to unlock his door, we heard footsteps getting increasingly closer behind us and knew that Dylan and Jack were sure to catch up with us soon. I looked behind me and saw them make it past the exit of the stairwell and onto the 3rd floor and ushered Robert to open the door this instant. He eventually got it unlocked and all of us rushed inside. Inside the front door of his apartment was an open room that had a lot of space, I’d say it was about the size of my room, with no furniture. Opposite the door he had just unlocked was a section of the room that had a cube obtrusion where there were two more doors to unlock inside of it, which actually let you enter his house. We quickly pushed through and waited as he quickly unlocked the inner doors. During all this chaos, I could hear Dylan and Jack trying to break into Robert’s first door since the lock system in those doors were not entirely stable. Thankfully though, we entered Robert’s house just in time and locked the doors behind us. We all let out a sigh of relief and Robert showed us around his house. The layout of the house was so nice and huge; I’m sure he was paying upwards of one thousand dollars a month. I asked him what he was paying exactly per month but he laughed at me and continued showing off the house, so I don’t believe it’s something he wanted to share with us.
While I was under the impression that he lived alone, I was surprised to find out he had multiple bedrooms for us to stay in, and that he was not going to stay with us overnight. His apartment was beautiful and as he showed us more of it, I started to offer to move here since our lease is up if there is a spare room. Delia and Taryn didn’t seem against the idea and I got excited. There was a long kitchen with a dining room attached, a balcony, 3 bedrooms, an attic, as well as a basement. I’m not sure how a room on the third floor was able to have an attic and a basement, but I was not going to question it. Once Robert had shown us the entire apartment he left us to be alone and I picked the room that was going to be mine for the night. I picked the room that was on the right as you walked down the hallway, Delia picked the one at the very end, and Taryn defaulted to the room on the left.
I’m honestly not sure how I and Taryn got to this part in my dream, but eventually, we were at the bottom of this extremely steep cliff that I was leaning a tall ladder against with both of our kitties with us. For some reason though, our kitties didn’t look like kitties they looked like My Little Pony ponies, which was odd but extremely cute. Kraut was light blue and Taryn’s kitty was light pink. Taryn and I talked about a variety of things as we began to climb the ladder while holding our kitty above us. As I began to reach the top of the ladder I felt it leaning back and in a scared tone of voice, I asked Taryn, who was already at the top, to pick up Kraut so I could hurry up the ladder hopefully before it toppled backward. I believe it was around this point in the dream as well that my dad was asking me what was wrong with him, and I told him he’s overbearing and it’s difficult to feel comfortable with him when he’s that way. Taryn ended up helping me out right away and grabbed Kraut and I was able to lift myself up to the landing before I felt the ladder give way behind me. I believe Taryn was hungry at this point, so we hurried back to the house and put our kitties away, and then ran around trying to find Delia. We found out that Dylan and Jack were staying in the room of this girl I went to high school with that was named Katherine and instead of sleeping on the beds like us, they were sleeping on the floor on mats. I and Taryn later told Delia this and she laughed with us about how stupid it was.
Reaching the end of my dream, Taryn and I ran across this room that almost looked like it was a Minecraft parkour level and we made our way down these stairs and found ourselves at the entrance of what looked to be a concert stage. Around this point, I started to lose the dream, so I’ll finish writing here. This was the first time I’ve been able to write about my dream in quite some time and I’m happy I could write this amount. I believe that my meds have made my ability to have dreams go away as of late, so since I’ve stopped taking my meds I’ve been able to dream more which makes me very happy!
